Lighthouse X De La Vibe was a event series organized during the spring 2016. The monthly Sunday house club’s aim was to promote house music culture by creating an open space for all house culture lovers regardless of age, background or experience. It was organised in a industry location in Stockholm.

The starting point was to create a space for community-based learning and sharing for people interested in house music and dance culture. The purpose of the events was to create a social meeting place for people with different experiences in house cultures to explore house music, dance, movement, the social interaction, and to create and place without requirements. The aim was to make people who have never been in contact with house culture to feel welcome, get an insight into what it is, and to take part in the culture. We also wanted house culture lovers, dancers and musicians, to feel welcome to further explore dance, music and social exchange.

During the events, a community cooked vegetarian stew and fudge, was served. 

The event series was a collaboration project with De La Vibe and the DJ collective Lighthouse.
